Hey Park Slope? You got a logo, BITCH?

(click ad for closer look)
MORE PARK LESS SLOPE. Jack "don't call me Jackson" Heights, Queens sticks a broken beer bottle right in the face of pretty Park Slope with this "Queens is the new Brooklyn" ad from today's Home ad supplement in the New York Times. And looky at that logo...A top hat! A beer belly! And he even jauntily dances to a jazzy tune at the JackHeights Website (which is sponsored by Queens realtor MPC Properties). Wonder what EDGY, Radically Chic/Chicly Radical Williamsburg has to say about this throwdown? No matter, it looks like we're just about ready for another round of The Unparalleled Hyperbole of NY Real Estate Advertising...

Plus, it doesn't getting any edgier than saying "No Asians allowed." ("Less Slope"?)Well played, Jack Heights.

Even having just moved into JH in the last year myself, this advertisement campaign makes me want to throw up every time I see it. Also, I should probably go get a picture of it to prove the point, but they have one of their little "dancing top hat" people advertisements right in the middle of JH. If we already live there, why the hell would we need someone to shill it to us?

Also, the hook of the J looks a lot like an inappropriate appendage FWIW.

good thing they Trademarked that Jagoff logo–I was going to steal it and use it for my new chimney-cleaning service. See I employ workers with no vertebrae, but still manage to dress to impress.

Of course, my logo will incorporate a monacle.

It's like those optical illusions with the vase/faces or the old woman/young woman.

Facing to the right: beer belly
Facing to the left: stubby cock

Holy shit, I totally missed that the first time through. Not being a New Yorker, I thought it might have a local meaning I was unaware of and left it at that.

It looks like a guy in a top hat, squatting and taking a huge dump. In fact, if it wasn't for the top hat, I'd swear that was me in that logo.

This guys RE business should have the logo of a hearse...they are ambulance chasers in the worst way.
In fact they don't even wait until you are dead, they push themselves on defenseless elderly people. Shame on them and shame on their logo

The people that own this RE Co. should have a hearse for their logo. They are ambulance chasers in the worst way. They approach more innocent elderly people wanting to know when they are leaving. Shame on them
